Artist Statement

Theo Weywood produces artwork in a Brutalist, Constructivist, New Tendencies vernacular; which aims to engage and activate the viewer. Themes of nostalgia for municipal ambition and optimism for the resilience of communities permeate his work. Using his art practice to delve into ideas and methodologies at the outer edge of design, architecture and digital manufacturing. He is committed to the commons as a positive way out of the mess we are in.
